I completed my undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin, where I had the opportunity to study with Drs. David Buss, Dev Singh, and Joshua Duntley. I completed my Ph.D. at Florida Atlantic University under the supervision of Dr. Todd Shackelford.

Guided by an evolutionary perspective, I study sexual conflict in humans, psychology associated with men's anti-cuckoldry tactics (namely, sperm competition tactics), sexual coercion in intimate relationships, intimate partner violence, and mating strategies and tactics.

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at California State University, Fullerton.
